Family Resource Educator (FRE)
Family Resource Educator are responsible for facilitating evidence-based parent education workshops, providing culturally responsive services, collaborating broadly across systems and providing effective supports based on a deep understanding of the community served in, strength-based and trauma-informed manner. The AmeriCorps Family Resource Educator acts as a communication and trust bridge between the family, child protective services, social services, and mental health systems. Home Visitor (HV) Home Visitors are responsible for conducting evidence-based home visits, providing culturally responsive services and resources to enhance social/emotional development of families with children 0-17 years in a strength-based and trauma informed manner. The AmeriCorps Member Home Visitor acts as a communication and trust bridge between the family, child protective services, social services and mental health systems. |
Am I eligible?
Members must be at least 18 years of age, complete a background check, and be a US Citizen, US National, or Lawful Permanent Resident of the US.
